Everything in the Code Blue store is priced in one currency: gems . You buy gem packs on the website store, then spend them in game with /store. Ranks are cosmetic and quality of life only, and nothing that makes you stronger is for sale.

Getting gems

Buy them on the website store. Pick a pack, type your username, and check out. Your gems arrive in game the next time you’re online. Every $1 is 100 gems, and bigger packs add a bonus on top:

Earn them by playing, too: voting, the Battle Pass, daily reward streaks and some quests, holiday calendars, and placing in the top three gangs at the end of a season. You can also sell cosmetics to other players on the marketplace. Earned and bought gems are the same gems, so you can save up and top off.

Gems can’t be paid to another player. The only way they change hands is a sale on the marketplace, which takes a 7.5% tax.

What gems buy

Open /store in game. It has five sections: Ranks, Rank Upgrades, Crates, Extras and Cosmetics.

Already have a rank? Upgrade and pay only the difference: Convict to Kingpin is 2,000 gems and Kingpin to Warden is 2,500.

A community crate is one crate for you, plus a boost for everyone online: ten minutes of boosted money (Currency) or fifteen minutes of boosted tokens (Jackpot).

The premium pass pays itself back: 100 gems every five tiers.

Cosmetics

Never for sale

Some things can only be earned, and that will stay that way:

• Pets and pet eggs. Every pet is hatched from an egg you earned. See Pets.
• Enchants and pickaxe levels. Your pickaxe grows by mining.
• Prestige, Merits and mine upgrades. You climb by playing.
• Armor levels. Your set only levels from blocks you mine by hand.
• Gems from crates. No crate ever pays out gems.

Refunds and chargebacks

If a purchase didn’t arrive or something went wrong, open a ticket (/ticket in game, or in our Discord) and we’ll sort it out. Gems are delivered right away, so purchases aren’t refundable once received, except where the law says otherwise. Opening a chargeback instead of contacting us first leads to a ban from the server and the store. The full policy is in the Terms.
