Everything about Code Blue

Pets

Companions that boost what you do.

A pet is a companion that boosts one thing while it’s in one of your slots: money, shards, pickaxe XP or how often your enchants go off. Pets are earned, never sold. Everything about them lives in /pets (or /pet).

A pet isn’t an item. It’s yours the moment it hatches, so it can’t be dropped in a mine, lost to a full inventory or traded away.

Getting eggs

Pets hatch from eggs, and eggs come from playing:

  • Crates. The Starter, Mining, Vote, Event and Rebirth crates can all hold eggs, and the Pets Crate holds nothing else. See Crates.
  • The Battle Pass. Eggs and Pets Crates on its tiers, and a Legendary Egg as the final premium reward.
  • Lucky blocks you find while mining. A rarer lucky block hatches a slightly better egg.
  • Holiday calendars.

An egg given to you while you’re offline is waiting in your inventory the next time you join.

Hatching

Hold the egg and right-click. It wobbles, cracks, and your pet appears where the egg was. The pet is rolled the moment you use the egg, so it’s a surprise until then, and it’s yours even if you log off mid-hatch.

Which rarity you get

Every egg rolls a rarity, then a pet. A basic Pet Egg can hatch any pet, at these odds:

Rarity Chance
Common 60%
Rare 25%
Legendary 10%
Mythical 4%
Masterful 0.9%
Pristine 0.1%

Some eggs are better:

Egg What it hatches
Legendary Egg Legendary 60%, Mythical 30%, Masterful 9%, Pristine 1%. Never Common or Rare.
Pickaxe Egg Always a Gazelle, at the usual odds above.
Lucky Eggs (Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical) Mostly Common and Rare, with a little more room at the top the rarer the lucky block.

The pets

Pet Boosts
Snail Money from mining
Bat Shards from mining
Gazelle Pickaxe XP from mining
Raven How often your pickaxe enchants trigger

Pets only boost what you earn by mining. Money you’re paid, given or refunded is never boosted. The Raven makes an enchant go off more often, never harder.

Rarity and boosts

A pet doesn’t level up: its rarity sets its boost, and the way to a stronger pet is fusion. Each pet’s boost is shown in /pets.

Rarity Snail (money) Bat (shards) Gazelle (pickaxe XP) Raven (enchants)
Common 5% 31% 10% 5%
Rare 9% 36% 20% 10%
Legendary 15% 41% 35% 18%
Mythical 21% 46% 55% 28%
Masterful 28% 51% 80% 40%
Pristine 42% 71% 110% 60%

Slots

Only pets in your slots boost you. Everyone has 3 slots, and prestige unlocks more:

Prestige Pet slots
Everyone 3
1M 4
1B 5
1T 6

A slot you unlock is yours for good: a rebirth resets your prestige but keeps your slots.

Click an empty slot in /pets to pick a pet for it, click a pet to swap it out, or right-click it to take it off. Every pet you’ve hatched is in your collection, whether it’s in a slot or not.

Stacking

Pets that boost different things each count in full, so filling your slots with a mix is the strongest setup.

Pets that boost the same thing fall away: your strongest one counts in full, the next counts half, the one after that half again, and so on. However many you stack, it never adds up to more than twice your best pet. There’s also a ceiling per boost, set above what a single Pristine pet reaches, so it only ever stops a stack of duplicates.

Tip: one Snail, one Bat, one Gazelle and one Raven beat four Snails.

Fusion

Spare copies of the same pet at the same rarity can be fused into one pet a rarity higher. It’s the only way to move a pet up the ladder. Open it from /pets.

Fusing Copies Cost
Common → Rare 5 50,000
Rare → Legendary 5 100,000
Legendary → Mythical 5 200,000
Mythical → Masterful 5 400,000
Masterful → Pristine 8 800,000

Every step always works except the last: Masterful to Pristine succeeds 35% of the time, and a failed fusion still uses up the copies and the tokens.

A pet in one of your slots is never used up by a fusion.

Pets that follow you

Your best equipped pet walks with you as the creature itself, labeled with what it’s doing for you. It’s just for show: your boosts are the same whether it’s out or not. Turn it on or off with /pets follow, or the button in /pets.
