Prestige

The endless climb, its milestones and Merits.

Prestige is the number that shows how far you've come. It has no top: it climbs the whole time you mine, from thousands to millions, billions and far beyond. Every milestone along the way pays Merits, which buy permanent upgrades.

How prestige works

Every block you mine sells for money. Your money buys prestige on its own as it comes in: every prestige costs the same 140, and each second your balance buys as many as it can afford.

  • Nothing resets when you prestige. You keep mining, and the number keeps climbing.
  • The more you earn, the faster it climbs. Enchants, mine upgrades, pets and rebirths all make your money grow, so they all speed up your prestige.
  • Prestige Finder, a shard enchant, now and then leaps you part of the way to your next milestone as you mine: 3% of the way at level 1, up to 12% at level 10. See Enchantments.

When your prestige is high enough you can rebirth: your prestige starts again from zero, in exchange for a permanent boost.

Auto Prestige

Auto Prestige is on for everyone from the start. You'll find it in /settings. Turn it off when you want to save money instead, for the casino, coinflip or /pay. While it's off, your money stays in your balance and your prestige stops climbing, so turn it back on when you're done.

Milestones

Passing a milestone pays its Merits straight away. There's nothing to claim: you get a title on screen, a sound and a line in chat. If one big batch of prestige passes several milestones at once, you're paid for all of them.

Some milestones also give your mine new blocks: 10K, 100K, and then every 1, 2.5 and 5 of each power of ten from 1M (1M, 2.5M, 5M, 10M, 25M...), up to 50T, its 27th and final look. Every block sells for the same, so this only changes how your mine looks.

Tip: quests and Battle Pass tasks that ask you to prestige count the milestones you pass.

Merits

Merits come from milestones and are spent on upgrades that stay with you, even through a rebirth. They can't be paid to other players.

Where to see it

  • /prestige opens the Prestige page in /progress: your prestige, a bar to the next milestone, your Merits, what the next rebirth needs, and every milestone with what it pays.
  • While you mine, the bar above your hotbar shows your prestige, the money, tokens and shards you're earning per minute, and your blocks per second.
  • Your scoreboard, chat name and profile show your prestige as a short number, like 2.5B.
