Autominer
An inmate who keeps mining while you're away.
Your autominer is an inmate who works your mine for you while you stand in it AFK. It earns a share of what your own mining pays, so it’s never as good as mining yourself, but it keeps you earning while you take a break. It’s free for everyone and never sold.
How it starts
There’s nothing to buy or set up. Your autominer is switched on from the start, and it takes over on its own when:
- you’re standing in your own mine,
- you haven’t mined a block for 10 seconds,
- you’ve mined since you joined, and
- its battery has charge in it.
You’ll see “Your autominer took over” in chat, and the inmate appears in your mine and starts digging. The bar above your hotbar shows its battery and what it has banked so far.
The moment you mine a block yourself, it steps aside.
What it earns
Your autominer earns 20% of what your own mining pays per second: money, tokens and shards, with all your boosts already counted. The Speed upgrade raises that share.
What it earns is banked, not paid straight away. The next time you mine a block yourself, you get it all at once, with a chat line saying how long it worked and what it made. That way, AFK time never climbs your prestige on its own.
It only works while you’re online and in your own mine. Leave the mine and it stops.
The battery
The battery is charged only by your own mining. Every second you spend mining adds a second of charge, and every second the autominer works uses one up. It holds 30 minutes to start.
If the battery runs out, it stops and tells you. Mine for a while to charge it back up.

The menu
Open it with /mine autominer, from the Autominer button in /mine menu, or through the Mine Manager
in your mine. It shows whether your autominer is working, how full its battery is, and what it has
banked. Click the autominer to switch it off, or back on.
Tip: a rebirth clears any money your autominer has banked but not paid yet. Mine a block before you rebirth to collect it.
